<p>CONVEYOR Apparatus for the conveying of articles in the form of a substantially horizontal conveyor pan and means to move the pan such that the projection on a vertical plane extending in the conveying direction of the locus of each point on the pan is a smooth closed curve, preferably circular; and the conveying direction of the articles is in a sense opposite to that of the horizontal component of the velocity of the pan at its point of maximum elevation.
