发明名称 ELECTRODE MATERIAL FOR ELECTROSPARK MACHINING
摘要 PURPOSE:To increase a machining speed by improving the operation in an initial electric discharge, and enabling to make the shank section in one united body to increase the strength with a simple process by using high fusing metal sintered material having a slight erosion of electrode to permit a precise dimension torerance. CONSTITUTION:At least, the electrode surface of high fusing metal sintered material is closely coated by copper layer or silver layer, the surface thereof being joined with a normal metal by use of a joint material to form an electrospark machining electrode material to develop a laminated compound material. For example, the bottom of graphite container 15 is provided with a holder 16, in which a portion of copper or silver powder and the like of the infiltrate 14 is filled, after which the skelton 11 such as tungsten and the like is placed. Further, the joining surface of shank 13 made of a normal metal is coated with a joint material 12 for laminating on the skelton 11, and then taking out from the container 15 after heated and cooled. After machining, four layer compound electrode body consisting copper layer or silver layer 17, copper or silver tungsten sintered material 18, joint layer 19 and shank material 13 may be obtained.
