PURPOSE:To deal with an individual difference or daily variation, by mounting a skin potential detecting means for detecting the skin potential of a human body, a potential variation detecting means for detecting the temporary variation of the skin potential detected by said detection means and a vigilance judge means for judging vigilance on the basis of the variation of skin potential. CONSTITUTION:In the constitution of a doze detector, SPL detection electrodes 1a, 1b are the detection electrodes mounted on the forearm part and palm thenar part of an examinee by paste and a detecting circuit 2 differentially amplifies the SPL of the palm thenar part to the forearm part led out from said detection electrodes to an order of several volts. A vigilance operation part 3 consists of an A/D converter 3a for converting an analogue SPL signal to a digital signal and a microcomputer 3b performing operational processing. Since vigilance is judged on the basis of the temporary variation of skin potential by the above mentioned constitution, the vigilance of a person can be certainly judged regardless of an individual difference or daily variation. By the vigilance lowering signal outputted from said operation part 3, a buzzer 4 is sounded or an air conditioner 5 blows cold air to the face of a driver. |
