<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the damage of a protector and a wire by hanging an elevation snatch block adjustable in its height and a pair of stationary snatch blocks disposed at both sides of the elevation snatch block, installing a connecting link between the elevation snatch block and the stationary snatch block, and forming an interval of the length or longer of the protector between both. CONSTITUTION:If a wire extension work is conducted, when a protector P on a wire 1 approaches an initial stationary snatch block 3, an operation wire 7 is pulled to lift a snatch block 9 together with a movable block 8 so that no load is applied to the block 3. When the protector P is moved to a position between the initial block 3 and the block 9, the block 9 is returned to a lower position to be so disposed as to align substantially horizontally with the block 3. When the wire is further extended so that the protector P is moved to a position between the block 9 and the next stationary block 4, the block 9 is again disposed at a raised position so that no load is applied to the block 4. Thus, the wires W near both ends of the protector P are not forced to be excessively bent, but smoothly pass a snatch block device.</p> |
