<p>PURPOSE:To prevent shaft hole section from abrasion, wear-resistant plastic layer is used for the part where a rotary shaft of contact body contacts, and a number of unit contact plates are fixed to the plastic layer. CONSTITUTION:A plastic rotary contact body for a waste water treatment consists of a number of unit contact plastes 4 with shaft holes at the center and piled up with specified distance therebetween. An abrasion-resistant plastic layer 3 is used for the part where the contact body contacts with the rotary shaft 2 so that racing will not occur to the rotary shaft 2 due to abrasion after long run. The plastic layer 3 is fixed with a number of unit contact plates 4 and foamed plastic 5 is used to fill the gap between the contact plates just around the fixed portion until the plastic reaches to the thickness required. This effectively absorbs stress generated at the contact portion, thereby protecting the waste water treating rotary body from being damaged.</p> |
