PURPOSE:To measure the phase lag of light-sound output precisely and to obtain an exact light-sound specturm by feeding an individual light-sound output, which are provided from both light-sound cells of analyzing side and reference side, to three-set cascade circuits consisting of the multipliers and the integrators and by computing each output. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from the light source 1 is modulated by the chopper 2, and is thrown to both the light-sound cells of the reference side and the analyzing side 7, 8 through the spectroscope 5 and the half mirror 6. The multiplier 14 operates the autocorrelation of reference output, another one 15 does the correlation of the reference output to the analyzed sample output, the last one 16 does the autocorrelation of analyzed sample output. The constant time integrators 17-19 integrate outputs of the multipliers 14-16 for a fixed time to obtain the correlation and autocorrelation. Each correlation is fed to the computer 24 through the AD converters 20-22, and the desired data is provided. |
