PURPOSE:To manufacture capsule stably from a high-solid content and low-viscosity dispersion in the coexistence of a styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer and vinyl acetate-maleic anhydride copolymer as denaturants in the manufacture of small capsule. CONSTITUTION:A styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer and a vinyl acetate-maletiec anhydride copolymer in a proportion of 1:0.5-1:2 by weight are dissolved in water, and then a hydrophobic substance is dispersed and emulsified in the aqueous solution. Furthermore, a melamine-formalin initial condensation polymer is added to the solution for capsulation. The addition of vinyl acetate-maleic anhydride copolymer as denaturant in this way enables one to manufacture a high-solid content and low- viscosity small capsule dispersion formable into a dense, water-resistant, and microorganism-resistant capsule. |
