<p>The process comprises anaerobic treatment to reduce the biologiological oxygen demand and to produce a gas contg. methane which is recovered. The treated liquor is then catalytically oxidised. Process is applied for example pig and cattle muck, starch residues and wastes from distilleries and abattoirs. The process is economic and produces recyclable water, a fertiliser base having a negligible odour and the methane contg. gas.</p> |
