<p>PURPOSE:To join simply and mechanically firmly a cylindrical glass body and a cylindrical metal body without using an adhesive by attaching the metal body to the glass body through a specified metal ring. CONSTITUTION:Metal ring 13 is used having an inside diameter about equal to the outside diameter of base attaching part 11a of glass bulb (cylindrical grass body) 11, a plurality of protrusions 16 formed on the inside, and separating part 19. A plurality of recesses 15 corresponding to protrusions 16 are formed at part 11a. While being extended in diameter from part 19, ring 13 is set around part 11a so that recesses 15 are fitted to protrusions 16. Next upper opening 12a of base 12 is fitted to the outside of ring 13, ring 13 is clamped, and flange 18 of ring 13 and the end of opening 12a are connected with solder 14 and fixed.</p> |
