In a fire-proof mounting for a flexible printed circuit board (1), an instrument casing (2a) in contact with the board is formed with a region (3), which may comprise through apertures, recesses, or recesses filled with incombustible material and which are located at narrowed portions (1c) of the printed circuit so that the instrument casing is not in direct contact with the narrowed portions.
