DEVICE FOR ATTACHING SEAL

A device for attaching a seal for sealing the naps of a corrugated box. This seal is applied for bridging over the bonded edges of at least two flaps of the box and sealing the naps by piercing each flap with horn-like piercing pawls of a pair of rotatable pieces provided thereat. This device advantageously drives cutting edges (17) by the motion of two reciprocating slides (12, 13) to thereby separate the connecting piece of a plurality of the seals, subsequently drives rotary members (29a, 29b) to thereby push down the rotatable pieces of the seal, and causes the pawls to pierce the flaps of the box so as to simply attach the seal to the box in a reliable manner.
