<p>IMPROVED PEEP SIGHT FOR ARCHERY After a discussion of the structure and technique of use of conventional sighting apparatus used for archery bows, the sighting apparatus including a bow-mounted bow sight and a string-mounted peep sight, an improvement to the peep sight is disclosed which keeps the peep sight from rotating about the bow string when the bow string is drawn. An elastic cord, such as a piece of flexible tubing, has one end fitted onto a pin extending from the peep sight and the second end fitted onto a block which itself is secured to the bow. As the bow string is drawn, the elastic cord is stretched to exert a force upon the peep sight to align a sighting bore or "peep" therethrough with the bowmounted bow sight.</p> |
