The anti-pollution system prevents pathological contamination of the interior of buildings such as hospitals, operating theatres etc. Dirt transported by the soles of shoes is simultaneously scraped off and sterilised by a medium distributed by fixed or moving scraping or friction surfaces. There can be a member impregnated with the sterilising medium which contacts the soles under the effect of gravity and friction movement.
