<p>A business form is divided into four parts (11, 12, 13, 14) by three fold lines (15, 16, 17). An end area (14) carries a message, and the next area (13) has a space for a reply. The form is folded along a central line (16) so that those two areas (13, 14) lie over the other two areas (12, 11). The form is then folded along a common fold line (15) and the superimposed line (17) to form an envelope which is sealed along the adhesive edges (18a, 18b, 19a, 19b, 20a, 20b). The outside of the envelope carries the address of the recipient. When the letter is received and opened the end area (14) is detached, a reply written on the next area (13) and the letter re-sealed and returned. The forms are printed in continuous strips with the individual forms separated by perforated lines so that they can be torn off as required.</p> |
