PURPOSE:To simlplify the manufacturing, to prevent the leakage of electrolyte and to reduce the weight of battery, by thermally bonding the thermoplastic synthetic resin packing portion formed on the pole column with the cover. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of projections 2 are provided around the pole column 1 then thermoplastic synthetic resin packing portion 4 is formed while surrounding said projections 2 to provide elctrode board group 3. Then the packing portion 4 of said electrode board group 3 and the cover 5 are thermally bonded to prevent the leakage of electolyte. Consequently conventional lead bushing is elminated resulting in the reduction of weight. |
