Filter medium for an unloaded filter, in which the monofil weft and warp yarns are formed from a material with which the tenacity and surface properties of a polymer of an aminoacid of formula NH2-(CH2)10-COOH comply. The filter cloths are of particular use for filtering fibre impurities from 'white water' in papermaking using rotary drum filters. |
