Novel oxime derivatives of the formula <IMAGE> in which A represents hydrogen or a C atom which is part of an aliphatic group or of a ring structure and B is a C atom of a, preferably aromatic, ring structure, namely a phenyl ring, and R<1> represents hydrogen or lower alkyl, R<2> represents lower alkyl and R<3> represents hydroxyl, lower alkoxy or a lower alkoxy which is substituted by phenyl or a heterocycle, and their acid amides are obtained by reacting oximes of the formula <IMAGE> or alkali metal salts or alkaline earth metal salts thereof with a compound of the formula <IMAGE> followed, if appropriate, by hydrolysis or esterification with an alcohol R<3>-OH, or amidation. The compounds are suitable for pharmaceutical purposes, in particular for lowering lipid levels, and for crop protection.
