<p>Minerals, esp. contg U, are attacked by conc reagent, esp. H2SO4 and washed in a vertical counter-current column. Treated mineral is continuously supplied to top of column and continuously extracted from its base. Water is injected into lower part of column and cont. extracted at its upper part, the liquor being treated in an extractor and the water recycled.</p> |
