<p>The braking action to the braking roller in the warp yarn feeding train is achieved by a sensor on the warp yarns determining the pressure applied by two discs to a central disc in a friction coupling to the braking roller round which the warp yarns pass. This gives a stepped braking effect to maintain a constant tension across several warp beams independently of the diameter of material on each beam.</p> |
