PURPOSE:To prevent wiper rubber from deteriorating by removably mounting an angular cylindrical hollow shaft to one part of a wiper rod and supporting the wiper rubber so as to be floated from a glass surface, when a wiper device is inoperative, by a bending shaft rotatably supported to this hollow shaft. CONSTITUTION:Two L-shaped metal fixtures 7, supporting a hollow shaft 1, are arranged so as to interpose a wiper rod (not shown) from the upper and the bottom, and by mounting these L-shaped metal fixtures 7 to be tightened by a screw 9, the hollow shaft 1 is mounted to the wiper rod. A bending shaft 2 is swivelably supported to this hollow shaft 1 through a connecting rod 6, while a sliding shaft 3, mounting soft rubber 4 serving as the glass setting part in the point end, is slidably fitted to the bending shaft 2, and the sliding shaft 3 enables its in-out sliding length to be fixed by an adjusting screw 5. While for assisting the bending shaft 2 for its swiveling, the connecting rod 6 mounts a spring 8 to be fitted. |
