<p>Polymeric binder for image receiving layers for the diffusion transfer process consists of (I) a neutral butyl acrylate polymer, and (II) polyvinyl alcohol which is less than 5% esterified. The binder forms a water resistant layer on a paper base, so that the formation of stains by the treating chemicals is greatly reduced.</p> |
