The butterfly valve comprises a disc (2) bearing against a seat (6) of the valve body (1) in the closed position. The disc (2) is provided with eccentric pivots (3) engaged in cylindrical bearings (4) mounted with clearance in housings (5) of the valve body (1). This valve is more particularly intended to be mounted in the intake of a turbine, in order to close it during pumping out of the latter. It has the advantage of opening, at least partially, in the case of an accidental excess in pressure arising on the turbine side of the intake. <IMAGE> |
