PURPOSE:To reduce cost and achieve miniaturization by making a hologram lens by the use of the optical system having the function of converting the exit beam from a semiconductor laser to an isotropic circular beam and emitting the beam at the time when said exit beam is entered thereto. CONSTITUTION:This comprises using the optical system 8 which has the function of converting the exit beam from an imaginary semiconductor laser 1 shown by an imaginary line to an isotropic circular beam at the time when said beam is entered from the incident side Lin of the optical system 8 and emitting the beam from its exit side Lout, wherein the isotropical circular beam 10 is entered from the exit side Lout of this optical system 8 and with the beam 11 being emitted from the incident side Lin of this time being made object light and a photosensitive member 12 to become blank for the hologram lens is placed on the way and the parallel reference light 13 of an isotropic circular shape is radiated in alignment to the beam 11 radiation surface of this photosensitive member 12 and is recorded, whereby the hologram lens 14 is obtained.
