PURPOSE:To generate electrons in an amount necessary to start discharge in order to enable recording without deficient discharge by irradiating microspaces formed between multistylus recording electrode heads and recording paper or a dielectric drum by radiation. CONSTITUTION:Multistylus electrode head consist of recording stylus electrode 2, control electrodes 3 arranged near both sides of this, and support 4 for insulating them and bearing them. When positive recording voltage is applied to electrode 2, electrons 10 are attracted the electric field formed between electrode 2 and electrodes 3, advance toward electrode 2, repeating collisions with air molecules and ionization of them during this cource, and at last form aerial discharge between electrodes 2 and 3, permitting the area, opposite to electrode 2, of dielectric layer 6 of recording paper 5 to be charged to positive polarity. |
