PURPOSE:To count the value of a dose of radioactivity automatically and accurately, by using an infrared ray lamp for heating, and by converting thermo-luminescence into electric signals by means of a photomultiplier while counting correction and measuring value by means of a logical circuit. CONSTITUTION:An element is heated by employing an infrared ray lamp for heating and thermo-luminescence generated is changed into electric signals by means of a photomultiplier. Signals converted into electric signals by means of a photoelectric converting device 30 are integrated by means of an integrator 31 for a fixed time as currents as they are or after converting into pulse signals, and put out. Since the integrated value has different value every radioactivity dose reading device by the difference of the sensitivity of a heating device, optical system passages, the photoelectric converting device or the like, a reference scale factor K032 is multiplied for correcting the difference of the sensitivity. Thus, the first reading value D033 is multiplied by a reference material conversion rate and changed into D4= D0XK0XKSMbcXKra.
