<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an efficient controller of simple constitution by limiting the speed of a magnetic tape within a tape speed range corresponding to the tape speed and tape length after rapidly feeding the tape and then by turning reels at low and constant speeds before the fixed time of a desired tape position. CONSTITUTION:Motor 6 is rotated at a high speed to feed magnetic tape 4 rapidly. Then, motor 6 is turned at the high speed and stopped by turns to limit relation T<2>x' between tape speed 1/T and conversion time x' (One minute of the time of tape length ''x'' expressed by time is converted into 2<6> seconds.) corresponding to the tape length within a tape speed range. When tape position (x1) leads desired tape position (x0) by two seconds, for example, motor 6 is turned at a low speed to run magnetic tape 4 slowly and at a position one frame before desired tape position (x0), a driving current is cut off to stop magnetic tape 4 at the fixed position. In this way, an efficient controller of simple constitution can be obtained.</p> |
