PURPOSE:To cause a torsion depending on a tightening torque and absorb an axial vibration when tightening a bolt, nut or the like with a pneumatic wrench or the like, by providing a spring-like torsion bar. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical butt 1 of the torsion bar is fitted on the output shaft of the pneumatic wrench and a pin 10 is inserted into a hole 7 so that the torsion bar and the output shaft are coupled with each other. A socket is provided on the tip of the torsion bar. The bolt, nut or the like is fitted in the socket and the pneumatic wrench 8 is driven to tighten or loosen the bolt, nut or the like. At that time, the spring-like part 3 of the torsion bar is displaced depending on the tightening torque. The displacement can be detected by a string gauge or the like. The vibration of the tightened side is efficiently absorbed by the spring-like part 3 not to be transmitted to the pneumatic wrench. |
