<p>PURPOSE:To let high-load waste liquid be treated at low cost with good efficiency without degrading the quality of the treated water by charging a plurality of floating filter beds which are hollow and have multiple pores in an aerating tank and providing liquid permeable stationary filter beds. CONSTITUTION:In the method of treating high-load waste liquid with the activated sludge, a plurality of floating filter beds 2 of synthetic resins such as polystyrene or other being hollow and having numerous pores in an aerating tank 1 and stationary filter beds 3 provided with multiple pores such as of mesh-form, etc. are installed therein. The activated sludge containing aerobic microbes deposits on both filter beds 2, 3. At the time when waste liquid 7 flows into the tank 1 and circulates, the excess deposition of the activated sludge on the filter beds 2, 3 is prevented by suspending of the filter beds 2 and clogging of the filter beds is thereby prevented. In addition, the sludge deposited on the stationary filter beds 3 dislodge in the form of blocks of suitable sizes and therefore bulking is prevented and the high-load waste water is suitably treated.</p> |
