PURPOSE:To transfer electrostatic image on a plain paper without requiring cleaning process, by contacting the conductive toner with the surface of dielectric recording body, and contacting the needle electrode to the back side, and electrostatically attracting the toner on the surface of the dielectric recording body. CONSTITUTION:When an information signal voltage is applied to a needle electrode 3 in synchronism with the conveying speed of a recording body 1, a magnetic toner 4b becomes a counter electrode, and the magnetic toner image is formed on the surface of the recording body 1. The toner image is transferred on a paper P by means of a transfer roller 6. The paper P after transfer is fixed by a fixing roller 11. The recording body 1 after transfer is cleared of the remaining electrostatic image by means of an AC corona destaticizer 12. Therefore, since the recording head is designed to contact with the back side of the recording body and the magnetic toner image is formed on the surface, the electrostatic image may be transferred on a plain paper without requiring cleaning process. |
