<p>The pulse suppressor is for spark erosion machines with an electrical pulse generator connected to the main gap. This also has a pulse detector to identify non-effective pulses by controlling a switch to switch off the pulse voltage fed to the gap when necessary. The pulse detector has a voltage compactor which, on passing through a given voltage level, generates a pulse suppressing switch voltage. The output signal of the voltage compactor is transmitted to the switch device by means of a memory fed by the output signal. The memory content is transmitted at intervals to the switch device.</p> |
