Elastic claw clutch construction - with concentric elastic damping and plastic moulded intermediate ring

The elastic clutch assembly has two interlocking claw plates with an elastic moulded insert ring floating between them. Each claw plate is fitted to a concentric damping element comprising concentric shells with an elastic damping layer between. The clutch is assembled from simple components. The claw plates are linked to outer shells by adhesive bonding or by friction welding. The clutch may be used in a variety of applications.
