The arrangement is used for tubes of which the wall thickness is 1/10 or less of the diameter. The bending tool incorporates a mandrel (23) over which is to be bent is placed. A quick clamping arrangement (8, 10, 21) is provided to clamp the tube on a bending lever (3). The mandrel (23) on which the tube is mounted has a rounded end (13), which protrudes so that it acts as a guide surface for the internal wall of the tube which lies in the outside of the bend.
