PURPOSE:To improve the storability and to facilitate the manufacturing, by employing titanium, molybdenum, tantalum and their alloy as the positive electrode current collecting member of manganese dioxide-zinc cell which employs perchlorate as the electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:Negative zinc electrode 2 and the positive electrode 3 which employs magnanese dioxide as active material are arranged through a separator 1, where water solution of perchlorate is employed as the electrolyte while titanium, molybdenum, tantalum and their alloy are employed as the current collecting member 4 of positive electrode 3. Then said generating element is wrapped, with resin encapsulation film 5, for example, to produce flat dry cell. Consequently the corrosion of zinc can due to carbon rod or carbon film is eliminated thereby the corrosion resistance of positive electrode current collecting member 4 is improved to provide improved storability and the manufacturing of cell is facilitated. |
