PURPOSE:To prevent a crack or shake, with a workability improved when forming, by such means that, with an aqueous solution of specific quantity of water soluble acrylate resin mixed to a silver suboxide power, a compression forming be processed after being dried. CONSTITUTION:To a silver suboxide powder 1 is blended an aqueous solution 2 of water soluble acrylate resin to be uniformly mixed at a proportion with the resin content becoming more than 3% by weight after being dried, and a compression forming is processed in a prescribed mold 4 after being dried, to construct an anode 5. For the acrylate resin, is used a material of acrylic constructional part of copolymer, for instance, between acrylic monomer like acrylate, methacrylate, etc. and ethylene, made into alkaline metallic salt, ammonium salt, alkaline earth metallic salt, zinc salt, etc. It is preferable for its blending quantity to be 3-10% by weight. In such process, surfaces of the active material particle is made into uniformly a wet condition with the fluidity improved, and a scaling workability or formability at the time of forming is improved, thus the anode 5 can be obtained without a crack or shake. |
