<p>The machine for laying pipes or cables in waterlogged or marshy ground has a self-propelled body with diggers on each side of a pipe or cable layer. The diggers are pref. adjustably mounted on the body and can be supported by beams. The working depth of the diggers can be variable, the sides of the trench being supported by steel plates towed by the machine. The steel plates extend under the machine to a point just behind the diggers.</p> |
