The oscillations are transmitted from a transmitter coil to a receiver coil. The coils form magnetic dipoles and are practically decoupled, but a coupling can be produced by a ferromagnetic element of an oscillating circuit tuned to the transmitter frequency. The coupling can be mechanically brought to the fields of the coils, or it can be there permanently, but the circuit can be switched. Connecting lines of the magnetic poles (dipole axes) of the two coils are at least approx. parallel. The coils are placed so that when the ferromagnetic element is ineffective, the coupling is minimum.
|
