The feed control unit is esp. for agricultural goods, esp. for hay or straw or corn, and comprises a motor driven blower with two three-phase motors, a main unit and an adjustment unit, driven by the same electrical power source. The adjustment motor unit (10) is mounted with a horizontal spindle (24) integral with a flat circular control plate (26) parallel with the wall of a feed channel (20). At the normally lower side of the plate is attached a weight (34) held by a clamping screw. The normally upper side of the plate has two arcuate closure flanges with a central space which has the same width as the lower end of a feed hopper (15). The control plate may be rotated in either direction.
