BOTH SIDE RESIN COATED PHOTOGRAPHIC SUPPORT

PURPOSE:To enable recording with a pencil or erasing the record by coating the emulsion noncoated side of a photographic support with a resin composition containing an inorganic powder having a specified hardness and a specified particle diameter. CONSTITUTION:A glass or other inorganic powder of 3-7 former Mohs' hardness and 1-40 micron particle diameter is added to a resin composition, such as 5-20 melt index polyethylene, in an amount of 5-50pts. per 100pts. of resin by wt. and coated on the emulsion non-coated side of a both side resin coated photographic support. This permits recording with a pencil on the reverse side of the support, such as color photographic paper and erasing this record with rubber or the like with ease.
