<p>Surface grafting polymer sheets with monomers to produce surface swelling, followed by x-ray or gamma radiation treatment, is performed by immersing the sheet in liquid monomer bath, then applying two cover plates, e.g. glass plates, while sheet is still immersed, thus forming a closed packet; the packet is then removed without being opened and is irradiated in protective gas atmos. or vacuum.</p> |
