<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a tubular container having a printed or painted portion on its shoulder through the reduced number of manufacturing processes by printing and painting a pattern, using decalcomania paper; and shaping with the use of a mold. CONSTITUTION:To manufacture a tubular container 2 having a printed portion 4 on the surface of its shoulder 3, decalcomania paper 7 composed of a layer of ink 5 and released paper 6 is placed on a heated panel 8 on which a sheet 9 is mounted and the sheet is transferred to shoulder 3. A sleeve 10, which is to become a body 2, is dropped from upward in such a state that it is held between an arbor 11 and a metal tube 13 having a cutting edge 12. The sheet 9 is cut by the cutting edge 12 and forced to join the interior of the sleeve 10 under the influence of latent heat produced by the sheet 9. the sleeve 10 and the sheet 9 are conglutinated by heat, simultaneously with the conglutination, the layer of ink 5 is transferred from the decalcomania paper 7 to a preliminary molded product 14 to be obtained. Then an outlet and the shoulder 3 are compressed to form the container, using a negative mold 15 and a positive mold 16.</p> |
