PURPOSE:To eliminate discharge miss as well as to prevent air bubbles from entering into a recording agent by integrally forming a head and a tank and providing a flexible bag in the tank, and by supplying the recording agent from the bag through a supply tube. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet head is accommodated in a head accommodation section 2 of a box 1. A supply tube 5 is connected to the end of a glass nozzle 4 in the head, while the other end of the supply tube 5, passing through a bulkhead 6 located between the head accommodation section 2 and an ink reservoir 3, extends as far as the bottom of the reservoir 3. Next, a film 8 which has micron-size holes is installed to the bulkhead 6 between the reservoir 3 and the accommodation section 2. Further, a porous material 10 having continuous micron-sized holes is filled into the reservoir 3, and a recording agent is soaked in the holes. Further, a bag 11 made of a flexible high molecular film such as a polyethylene film is installed in the reservoir 3, and from this bag 11, the ink is supplied through the supply tube 5. |
