PURPOSE:To realize an effective execution for an earlier detection of the fault and others by sending the data added intentionally with the wrong code to the CRC check circuit for confirmation of its normalcy and then giving the check to the normalcy of the CRC code gworn at the CRC gworing circuit. CONSTITUTION:At the data transmission time, the transmission data is supplied to CRC growing circuit 107 to grow the CRC code which is then added to the transmission data for transmission. While at the data reception time, the reception data added with the CRC code is supplied to CRC check circuit 108 to detect the error of the reception data. In that case, circuit 107 is first made inactive, and the data added intentionally with the wrong CRC code is supplied to circuit 108 to confirm the normalcy of circuit 108. After this, circuit 107 is put under the active state, and the data added with the CRC code grown at circuit 107 is supplied to circuit 108 to confirm the normalcy of circuit 107. As a result an earlier detection of the fault and others can be carried out effectively. |
