Leather or a textile fabric is made oil proof and water proof by impregnation in a compsn contg. (A) a tetrafunctional polyorganosiloxane of formula RSiX2(OSiR2)nOSiX2R where R is Me,Et, CmH2m +1, X is halogen, MeO, EtO, MeCO2, R2NO, CmH2m + 1, m=2-17, n=10-105. (B) organofluoro cpds of formula (CF3(CF2)m(CH2)p(XR)n where n=2-106, m=1-14, p=0-8, X=-CH2-, -O-, -NH-, -S-, -CF2-, -O(CH2)qNR'SO2-, R'=H, CnH2h + 1, h=1-10, q=1-6, R=acryl, methacryl, fumaryl, maleyl, vinyl, crotonyl (C) organometallic cpds of formula: (RO)4Ti, where R=Me, Et,Bu ethylhexyl or CnH2n + 1, n=1-18, acetyl, or CnH2n + 1CO, n=1-17, The four R's are not necessarily the same and the ratio A:B=4:1-19:1 and the ratio A+B:C=20:1-2:1. The compsn does not require heating when used.
