<p>A set of discharge nozzles, fed with low pressure scrubbing liquid, is placed, near a flat collector plate or within a cylindrical collector ring in a gas flow path and a high voltage applied between the nozzles and the plate. The voltage gradient used is equivalent to the corona breakdown voltage i.e. 15 - 30kV/cm. Improved purification efficiency compared to normal spray.</p> |
