PURPOSE:To accurately perform judgement of furnace condition by converting the tuyere end luminance fluctuations to electric signals by the photoelectric transducer mounted in the tuyere inspection hole then fetching out only the fluctuation components of the signals and by using the raceway index calculated by the specific formula with these components as furnace condition judgement indices. CONSTITUTION:The light information from the tuyere end raceway through the tuyere inspection hole 5 for observation of the raceway 3 of the tuyere branch 4 provided to the wall 2 of a blast furnace body 1 is branched to two systems by a half mirror 6. One is utilized to observation by eyes 2 or for observation by an industrial TV 22 and the other is inputted to a photo transistor 7, the output whereof is amplified by an amplifier 8 and is inputted to a high-pass filter 9. Next, the output is fetched out only from the fluctuation components f(t) of the luminance signal and with this as a blast furnace condition judgement index, the raceway index Ir given by the formula is calculated and the furnace condition is judged by this Ir value. |
