1360876 Prefabricated buildings MISAWA HOMES CO Ltd 12 Oct 1971 [15 April 1971] 47515/71 Heading E1A A single or double-storey building is constructed from prefabricated laminated, floor, roof and wall panels which are bonded together along adjacent edges by an adhesive consisting of a synthetic resin and by screwthreaded nails. The panels such as 9, 10 may consist of plates of plywood boards or slats bonded to opposite sides of a lattice frame and the resulting gaps therebetween may be filled with a heat insulating material such as sponge. The building is erected on a concrete foundation 1 having anchor bolts 19 therein to secure the floor panels 10 and the wall panels 9; foundation members 2 and shims 17 of cypress wood being positioned as shown.
