A demodulator for television or like signals having modulated and cyclic signals intermixed comprises two cascaded demodulators having respective short-and long-time constants compared to the modulation content and a signal level sensor between the cascaded demodulators responsive to the cyclic signals connected to provide an input signal to the second demodulator.
