PURPOSE:To prevent collation errors by performing no detection operation for collation errors when data read from one or both of a magnetic tape and the memory of a sequence controller agree with a fixed bit pattern. CONSTITUTION:When push-button switch SW1 is depressed, program data stored in sequence memory 11 is written on cassette tape CT; and when switch SW2 is depressed, contents of cassette tape CT are written on sequence memory 11. After write or reproducing operations, collation operation is performed automatically to detect collation erros. When a counter instruction and a timer instruction having prescribed bit patterns are read at a collation operation time, only set data of the counter and the timer are collated. |
