<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the arrangement of catalytic layers in waste gas duct, to enhance the quality of such catalytic layers, and to effect highly efficient denitrification. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of catalyst elements 6 are grouped together and fixed into a block to form a catalyst block 7. The block 7 is enclosed by plate materials 18, grating frame 19 is provided at the bottom of the block 7 for reinforcement, with the total block arrangement allowing waste gas G to flow from the top to bottom of the block 7. The height h of the block 7 is designed to become equal to that of catalytic layers which are planned to form by arranging the blocks in the waste gas duct D. The block 7 is carried by the block transfer device 17 from the hatch 13 into the duct D and arranged to form catalyst layers there.</p> |
