PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of failure in advance. by detecting abnormal temperature rise at the contacts of gas circuit breakers. CONSTITUTION:In the tank 1 of the gas circuit breaker, fixed contact 2, moving contact 3, and operation mechanism 4 are provided, and the measuring window 5 is formed at the location to which each contact corresponds. Further, the temperature of the both contacts is measured 6, and the passing current to the both contacts is measured 8, and the reference temperature of the contacts is set 9 with the current measurement and the output of the external temperature measurement 10. Further, the reference temperature and the measured temperature of the contacts are compared 11, and if high measuring temperature is detected than the reference temperature, the alarm unit 12 is operated and the recorder 13 is operated. |
